Rebecca Chew experiment

Rebecca Chew is the first photographer that I have seen who creates 3D pieces from the photographs she has taken. I like the idea of making something 3D from photographs but I feel that it doesn't represent the photograph well. If the 3D object that is made has a relation to the image then that would aid the justification of making it into a 3D piece but not help the viewing of the photograph.

As I had taken a photograph of a flower, I thought it would be perfect to make an origami flower from the image. I blew the image up to A3 so that the flower was quite big and the petals could be seen on the folds of the paper.
